The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) in collaboration with the Ministries of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) and Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development (MLGDRD) among others is embarked on a coaching exercise in the Ten (10) Regions targeting the Fifty-One (51) newly selected Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across the country.
This is supported by the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to implement an Integrated Social Services and to ensure a holistic service delivery mechanism.
On May 6 and 7, 2026, the Fanteakwa North District Assembly held its meeting at the District Assembly Hall.
