The Volta River Authority (VRA) organized a one-day stakeholder workshop at the the Fanteakwa North District Assembly conference to talk about the plan for environmental management.
The VRA officials were cordially welcomed by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Osumanu Abubakar.

- Illegal Sand Winning: How it destroys breeding grounds for fish and weakens the ground.
- Deforestation: Removing the vegetation of the earth that protects the water.
- Farming on Riverbanks: How chemicals and loose soil pollute the lake.
- Poor Waste Disposal: Turning a source of life into a health hazard.
