Fanteakwa North District Assembly Engages Traders on 24-hour market project

The Fanteakwa North District Assembly has engaged market women and traders at DCE’s Office on plans to develop a 24-hour economy market in the area. The meeting, led by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Osumanu Abubakar, focused on the proposed site for the 24-hours Economy market.

Speaking to the traders, the DCE highlighted that the model will provide space for financial services, storage, fire and security protection, and other amenities like eateries, crèches, and clinics to meet traders’ health needs in an emergency.

The Market Woman’s leader, Rosina Asamoah, expresses gratitude to the Assembly leaders for hosting them and reminding them of their important responsibilities in development.
