FANTEAKWA DISTRICT HOLDS FIRST ORDINANCE MEETING

On Friday, February 27, 2026, the Fanteakwa North District Assembly held its First Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the year. The Assembly Conference Hall served as the venue.

The Honorable Presiding Member, Hon. Kingsley Brandford Ofori-Agyarko, opened the meeting with remarks that set the tone for the discussions that would take place that day. The District Chief Executive (DCE) remarks, which focused on the District’s aims and objectives, came next.

The presentation and discussion of the sessional address by the DCE, Hon. Osumanu Abubakar, was a much-anticipated highlight of the Assembly. Hon. Abubakar Osman, the late assemblyman of Koradaso, was remembered with a minute of silence. Following that, he gave a thorough summary of the District’s accomplishments, difficulties, and strategic plans, encouraging participation and cooperation from all parties involved. These sectors included education, administration, security, roads, health, water and sanitation, agriculture, and more.

In summary, the year’s first Ordinary General Assembly meeting demonstrated a determined commitment to further the District’s objectives and improve the standard of living for its citizens. The Assembly is still well-positioned to handle obstacles, seize chances, and fulfill its mission of creating a thriving and resilient community.
