Green Ghana Day is an initiative by the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and the Forestry Commission and is part of an aggressive national afforestation and reforestation program aimed at restoring the country’s lost forest cover and is also expected to contribute to the global effort to mitigate the adverse.
The fourth edition of Green Ghana Day was marked at Begoro Presec School on Friday 7 June 2024 under the theme, “Growing for a Greener Tomorrow”.
