
The Department of Social Welfare and Community Development at the Fanteakwa North District Assembly collaborated with various stakeholders to establish and formally inaugurate the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰.

The primary purpose of this committee is to design child and family welfare programs and initiatives that effectively prevent and safeguard children from all forms of violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Additionally, the committee will ensure strict adherence to the existing child and family welfare policy, thereby promoting the overall well-being of children and safeguarding them from harm.

The inauguration event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, the 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, the 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, the 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 and representatives from the 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗼, the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲, the 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀, and the dedicated staff of the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
