The Blue Water Guards were formally inaugurated today by the Hon. District Chief Executive, Hon. Osumanu Abubakar, the Fanteakwa North District Assembly, the District Police Commander, the Forestry Commission, and a representative of the Hon. Minister, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources. This marked an important turning point in our shared dedication to protecting our water bodies and forest reserves.
The DCE urged the Blue Water Guards in his speech to fully understand the trust placed in them and to carry out their responsibilities in the preservation of our natural resources with honesty, diligence, and patriotism. Additionally, the District Police Commander cautioned the guards to carry out their duties with the highest level of professionalism, discipline, and seriousness.
The government’s steadfast dedication to protecting the environment and combating illicit activities that endanger our waterways and forest reserves is reaffirmed by this endeavour. Let’s work together to save the environment for current and future generations.
