The Fanteakwa North District Assembly’s Executive Committee(EXECO) on Tuesday 5th November 2024, held its final meeting for the year at the District Chief Executive office, to consider the findings from the Assembly’s five statutory committees.

In the opening remarks of the Chairman; Honourable Charles Oware Tweneboah, he welcomed all the Assembly members, chair persons for the various sub-committees, Heads of departments and heads of units for making attending the meeting.

The Conveners of the various sub-committees of the Assembly including Justice & Security, Social Services,Finance & Administration,Development Planning, Works and Transport took turns to present their reports and recommendations to the Committee for consideration to the General Assembly for approval or rejection.

Among the topics covered at the meeting were the draft 2025 Fee-Fixing Resolution,2025 Annual Action Plan, the Composite Budget and the Revenue Improvement Action Plan, Rehabilitation of Roads(DRIP), consideration of proposed animal Markets at Abourso/Ahomahomaso, Irrigation canal at Dedeso to support farmers.

After a successful meeting held, recommendations were made to be forwarded to General Assembly Meeting for approval.
