For the recently sworn-in Assembly Member (Fanteakwa North District), the Institute of Local Government Studies organizes an orientation and training session.
Among the topics covered in the presentation were: * The District Assembly as a system and the particular functions and obligations of Assembly Members; * The principles of the law; * An overview of the model standing orders;
The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Charles Oware Tweneboah, the District Co-ordinating Director (DCD), Mr. Eric Agbo, Hon. Assembly members, facilitators from ILGS, MIS officials, and a few other Assembly staff members were present at the meeting.
